MBC Meeting: The Amazing Migration of Birds

Dave Williams will be talking about the migration of birds, one of the most amazing aspects of natural history. As we will explore how birds migrate to and from their breeding grounds, we will see how technology has shed new light on these awe-inspiring journeys. Some birds migrate more than 20,00 miles! Other birds may only travel several hundred miles. The how’s and whys of migration will be discussed using animated maps, slides, video, and more.

Doors open at 6:30 for set up and social time and the meeting starts promptly at 7:00 PM.
